Wells Joins OEO
Charly Wells
recently joined the Office of Equal Opportunity as a
diversity program manager. A federal employee for 26 years, he was
most recently with the New York office of the National Weather
Service (NWS) as its eastern region EEO manager. Prior to that he
served as the Pacific region (Hawaii) EEO manager with NWS. He
spent many years as an EEO specialist at Pearl Harbor Naval
Shipyard in Honolulu. His interest in human rights and diversity
began while serving in the Marine Corps. Wells recently received the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrator's Award for EEO
program excellence.
