Postpartum Depression Study
The Behavioral Endocrinology Branch, NIMH, is seeking volunteer mothers ages 18-40 who have had one or more past episodes of postpartum depression following a full-term pregnancy, but are not currently depressed. Participants must be free of medical illnesses, medication-free and currently not breastfeeding. Volunteers may be asked to participate in a 6-month protocol investigating the effects of hormones on brain and behavior. All who complete the study will be paid. PTSD Study Recruits
NIMH is seeking individuals over 18 years old for an outpatient study that will determine if a combination of medications can rapidly improve post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms. Winter Blues Study Recruits
Do you hibernate in the winter? If you notice that you feel fatigued and down and that your sleeping and eating habits change in the winter, you may be eligible to participate in a research study on seasonal affective disorder (SAD). Diagnostic assessment and treatment consisting of light therapy, psychotherapy or their combination will be offered. There is no charge for participation in the study. Perception Study Needs Volunteers
