Goldrosen Named Chief of NCCAM Office
Dr. Martin H. Goldrosen was recently appointed chief of the Office
of Scientific Review at the National Center for Complementary and
Alternative Medicine. The office is responsible for the peer review
of all grant applications assigned to NCCAM. He will help ensure
quality, objectivity and accountability in the grants and contracts
peer review process. He will also coordinate activities to evaluate the
overall performance of NCCAM's grant review processes. Prior to
NCCAM and since 1991, Goldrosen was a health scientist
administrator within the Grants Review Branch of the Division of
Extramural Affairs, NCI, where he was responsible for review of
grant applications in the areas of drug development and biological
response modifiers.
