Maranpot Elected Society President
Dr. Robert Maronpot, chief of the Laboratory of Experimental Pathology at NIEHS, was recently elected president of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology. For the next year, he will be designated president-elect before taking the helm as president in June 2001. After serving as president for a year, he will spend a year with the designation of past-president. Maronpot said the 3-year term provides a wide window of opportunity to make a tangible contribution. He has been a member of the society for more than 20 years.
